Any "stealthy" issues for the 2004 general election?
Really underrated issues that don't get a whole lot of press from the media whores but could have a decent effect....

I was at a meeting where a gentleman brought up Title 9 as well as school construction.

You guys have any good issues that are flying under the radar but could cause a stir?

trade might be a biggie here in the funky ole south. lot's of folks out of work with few decent jobs. could be a way for DK to get his foot in the door down here.

2. File Sharing
Young people are concerned about this, and it is likely to hurt Democrats more, given their cozy relationship with the entertainment industry.

3. Job Flight

Especially in light of Bush's off-the-cuff remarks linking unemployment in technical jobs to rusty job skills rather than offshoring.

Programmers and engineers who heard that were offended, no matter what their political beliefs. "If my skills are so out-of-date" wrote one Freeper, "why did I have to train my replacement so the job could be shipped to India?"

Big, big potential issue. Wise Dem candidates will take note.

7. Also, "Job Blight."
3,100,000 lost jobs. Hopefully that represents 3.1 million votes against Shrub.

10. Progressive taxation -- apportioning the burden for
paying for American society and allocating the benefits of American society in a fair way; ensuring that there's an equality of opportunity on a level playing field; shifting American society from one that rewards size and wealth, to one that creates greater wealth for more people because it rewards hard work and progress.
