Could Dean run for VT Governor again?
If he loses the nomination or does not run as the VP could he perhaps run again for Governor? I think Vermont's filing deadline is pretty late, and I think Dean could win easily.

1. Yes

4. Anybody Running for President Could, I Believe
You'd have to establish residency in Vermont by buying a house and living there, for example. But it's not too late for any Democratic candidate to run for Vermont governor, if I'm not mistaken.

6. I doubt he will
Though he would easily win, Dean needs to keep himself in the presidential fold. If he doesn't receive the nomination, he'll do one of two things (I DON'T think he'll retire from politics)

1. He'll be the VP. Several candidates may consider him because he's certain to do well with the rank and file and would easily land NH. Both Gephardt and Edwards will consider him.

2. He'll run for the Senate in 2006. I don't think that Jeffords will run again, and Dean would do well as a senator. He'd easily win and would have built-in name recognition.
