Scrappy Dennis Kucinich Appeals To Angry Voters
WATERLOO, Iowa -- The 300 union members from across Iowa had sat for three long hours, listening to Democratic presidential candidates. The last would be Dennis Kucinich.

He quickly got the tired throng on its feet cheering, and by the time he was ready to wrap up 20 minutes later, the crowd had interrupted him with applause and cheers 13 times.

So moderator Mark Smith had to ask the Ohio congressman a question he had not asked anyone else: Can you win?

Sure, Kucinich said without hesitation, in a quick, assured cadence born of a lifetime of fighting against more powerful forces who asked similar questions. He comes from Ohio, a state with lots of electoral votes. He's beaten Republican incumbents. And, he said, "I'm the guy who provides the sharpest contrast with the Bush administration."

1. To see him is to vote for him
This guy's amazing. For those of us who want to change the country for the better, we need to make sure all of America knows who Dennis is and has an opportunity to see him.

2. Agreed
No one should decide on a candidate until they
have seen Kucinich speak in person. He is the correct choice.

3. Surprisingly enough,
some people don't even need that much incentive. We got a new supporter on my Delphi forum because they saw Kucinich being slammed by David Letterman. The poster says it really brought home how shallow and ridiculous people have become and gave them a shove into fully supporting DK.

4. The winner will be the "anti-Bush"
And not only is Dennis clear on the issues, he is truly the opposite of Bush.

Bush represents the tail end of the ruination brought to our country by Reagan and the first Bush.

We would have invaded Iraq to set off this neo-conservative crap under Bush I, but Clinton showed him the door.

Clinton also showed us "it doesn't have to be this way" about the deficit and funding programs.

Now we're in a perfect position to show Bush II that we know it "doesn't have to be this way."

Dennis represents the sea change we need to wash the corrupt corporate stench of piracy, oppression, and manipulation from the White House and the nation.

5. Also, Kucinich is the only candidate who is saying
that we have to REVERSE the Republicans' policies, not just modify them.

6. Yes! Yes, Lydia - *well* said
That's the One True Difference. He has committed to reverse their ruinous, dystopic policies, not simply massage them a little.

7. Exactly. He is the one candidate who will make a difference.
We need to elect a candidate who will make the world better, not just elect anyone who has a different name than Bush.

9. what gets to me is the man's **VISION** for this country
he doesn't want to just change this or that to make it palatable for more of the masses....

He has a vision of what our world CAN and SHOULD be...a world where peace is the norm...where everyone has healthcare and works to remainn healthy-not just more people for the pharmacorps to control with medication....his plan will ensure all people get the healthcare they need & are entitled to....and education....so important!

A country of people who are not running in fear...which is the main problem we face...* having everyone in fear mode-or anger mode. Who feels safe enough to relax and sit back and really see the screwing over bushco is doing to us?? Not many cause we are so busy trying to survive...this world is way off center...hijacked thanks to bushco...

Dennis Kucinich sees that so clearly and he is the best choice by far, to lead us away from bushies* mess into a way better world. I truly belive people are more ready for this than anyone imagines....

I say GO GO Dennis!!!:loveya:

Peace

and love will prevail

10. Yes.
I have yet to talk to someone who has seen him in person who does not say all the same things. To meet him is to support him. To listen to him is to support him. We need only to find enough people who are open enough to listen.
