Dean's Campaign Managers? Who else have they worked for?
I read that Trippi was Jerry Brown's campaign manager in '92. Is that true? If so, he got me to vote for Brown in the primary.

I'm curious about their hit rate with me. Does anyone know any other campaign's Trippi or anybody else high up managed?

1. Edward Kennedy, Walter Mondale, Gary Hart and Richard Gephardt.
"(Trippi assumed the role of campaign director on March 3, 2003 and held that title through April 7, 2003, when he replaced Rick Ridder) Trippi and Steve McMahon have been Dean's media consultants for all five of his gubernatorial campaigns. Trippi has worked on the presidential campaigns of Edward Kennedy, Walter Mondale, Gary Hart and Richard Gephardt. First campaign: volunteer on Iola Williams' campaign for San Jose, Calif. city council in 1976."

6. If Trippi was the Campaign Manager
Maybe some of them would have won.

12. One huge plus
is that Trippi has deferred to Dean on key decisions. Dean insisted that the campaign be "decentralized", triggering the embracing of the meet-up phenom when it emerged.

You think Mehlman's taking cues from Bush? Or Rove.

3. Quite a few experienced hands
Daren Berringer - Michigan coordinator - Berringer has an extensive history in political communications and organizing stretches, including stints working for statewide campaigns, as well as gubernatorial, congressional and senate races. Most recently, he served as press secretary for Pennsylvania State Senator Jack Wagner.

Chilton Ladd Marshall, a long-time field organizer, as OK state coordinator. Marshall, a native Oklahoman, has an extensive political organizing background, including serving as field director for the Women’s Voter Information Project in Arkansas and director of operations on the “No on 695” campaign in 2001.

Andrea “Andi” Pringle, a long-time political strategist, would join his campaign. Pringle, who recently worked as campaign manager for Carol Moseley-Braun’s presidential campaign, will serve as deputy campaign manager. Pringle, who recently joined the political consulting firm Whistle Stop Communications as a partner, has a diverse resume—including time on Jesse Jackson’s two presidential campaigns and a stint with his National Rainbow Coalition, as well as serving as deputy campaign manager for John White, Jr.’s race for mayor of Philadelphia and two years as a vice president at Jones & Associates political consulting firm.
She has also served as communications director for the NAACP’s National Voter Fund, worked on criminal justice issues with George Soros’ Open Society Institute, and spent seven years working in the entertainment industry.

There are several more experinced hands onboard, Steve MacMahon (I think), but I can't find the info. What I found was on the blog.

4. I don't know their names
But the Communications director was from Tom Harkin's staff.

Also some other communications person worked in the whitehouse from 1993-2000.

11. Even funnier
"As you would expect, Gobush's own line on his name is that it's widely misinterpreted. "It's a exhortation for our current president to leave office," he told Chatterbox."

Now that's good. Go Bush! Go away!

14. That's similar to...
When we lived in Atlanta when I was a kid and the Braves used to REALLY suck. They had bumper stickers that said "Go Braves!!...and take the Falcons with you."

You could have bumper stickers made up that say, "Go Bush!!...and take Rummy and Cheney with you!"

10. Grossman is the campaign's treasurer
He served as President of AIPAC. Grossman has also been the Chairman of the DNC.
