The Democrats' war.... or Why you can't be BushLite...
Republicans don't share credit, only blame.

To snip a DailyKos post

Back to MSNBC, Trent Lott, in that Matthews interview, denied vehemetly it was "Bush's war" -- he claimed it belonged to all of the US, and to the Congress who voted for the war. And to the Democrats who voted for it.

1. And what about those of us who opposed it vehemently?
Who's name ('Murika's) it is being done in? Don't try to drag me into your little empire ploy. There are millions of people to whom this war is an atrocity and an abomination.

3. I see that he forgot to mention that alot of people who...
supported the war then, do not now. and the reason for not supporting now is because of the LIES that Bush told to get us into the hell hole in the first place!

4. Certain Democrats wanted the war "off the table"......
before the midterm elections.

I, as an ordinary citizen, could see that the war logic was based on bogus assumptions long before that resolution.

5. NO, it's not 'my war'...
Lott can stuff it. This IS Bush's war. He planned it, lied to get it, and even paraded around in the clothes of those he sent to kill and be killed.

Anyone who bothered to educate themselves knew there were no WMD's and that this entire war was planned pre-9-11. Sorry, anyone who supported this war has innocent blood on their hands because there is absolutely no excuse for condoning this travesty. The information was out there, and it was easily available for anyone who was concerned that we wage a 'just' war. They're not going to get off the hook by claiming apathy or ignorance.

6. And remember this
Kerry is still claiming that Saddam threw out the inspectors.

Lie to me once....
