1. Huh?
>>> the failure of a clear Democratic front-runner to emerge -- all may be factors <<<

Seems to me like Dean is the clear front runner. And uh, didn't she also vote for the war?

and do you think even if by some small chance someone who opposed the war is elected a magical time machine will take us back to pre-war days? It happened and now we are there and have to rebuild the country. No Democrat is going to take us into another middle east war. If the entire party had voted against the war we would be sure to lose in 04 not only the presidency but more house and senate seats and the party would be further marginalized. I don't like that fact but it is the cold hard reality. You have to live and work in the world as it is not how you wish it was. You have to start from where people are at. People oppose the aftermath not the war itself. Even after no WMD were found the public has not been swayed, it is not going to change now. Maybe yrs from now but no time soon.

voted liberal 95% of the time in the senate according to the Americans for Democratic Action. That is better than Lieberman, Edwards, Kerry, and Gephardt. Don't make her out to be some Nazi. Anyone to the right of Karl Marx on this board is trashed.

5. Trashed?
I merely pointed out she voted for the war, which was "pure politics" for the dems who followed suit. Personally, I am not interested in supporting anyone who voted for bushCo's agenda in order to save their seat rather than serve the best interests of this country.

I will however support ANYONE against bush in '04. But, that's not today.
