Dean gets jump-start with ads in Seattle
Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean will begin airing television commercials in Seattle and five other markets today — an early start to the advertising that a year from now will dominate the campaign.

Dean, the former governor of Vermont, is spending about $1 million to air two 30-second ads in Seattle as well as in cities in New Mexico, Arizona, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Wisconsin, said Dean communications director Tricia Enright.

Those states have early presidential primaries or caucuses. Washington's Democratic caucus is Feb. 7.

"It is early, sure. But we really believe ... you're not going to beat George Bush by sitting back and waiting," Enright said.

1. Holy Crap
Now he'll really be in debt and have to lie about it to all of his supporters even though all his donations have been from his campaign staff except for all of the money he has gotten from major corporations which he never talks about and the fact that he is Rove's chosen candidate and the other candidates haven't even started to campaign yet and all of his support is only because he plays commercials which is why he is lying to everyone and isn't really a liberal but the media pushed him to the top because he was attacking other Democrats and everything gets handed to him.

Dean sure gets people energized, you know what I mean?

7. no wait!!!
Dean supported the Iraq War because he opposed the War resolution. And he supported a resolution that REQUIRED a demonstration of threat or a UN resolution which is NO different than a resolution NOT requiring a UN resolution or a credible threat demonstration. Heroes like John Kerry were fighting against the war by voting for the war resolution because "he had to protect our country". Also Dean is an unemployed politician, whereas kerry is in washington all the time doing his job for the people of MA (oh wait....) If Dean had to vote on the resolution, it would actually count against him. Not like he was painted the "anti-war candidate" or anything. The media didnt know how he stood because he didnt have to vote on the resolution. Just saying you would have voted against it doesnt count.
