Instead of always posting my thoughts on the policy I sometimes post my website adn encourage supporters to give money. It is all part of free speech. Perhaps you think I ought not to have that right.

It is only a personalized fundraising promotion the cmapaign has setup for people like me. It is to give money to Kerry. You donation is taken through the official campaign website. But fi you click on the link on my homepage I can tally those donations given channeled through my website. that allows me to promote a modest fundraising goal and get people excited about giving smalls sums of money to help meet it.

I'm not raising the money for the site, KerryCore simply allows sites like mine to post a 'personalized' fundrasing link on their homepages that leads to the campaign's official website where you actually give your money. However, I can track the amount of donations channeled through my site. Understand? Go to toughenough.org and click on the fundraising link. You'll see.

Otherwise, you could have asked people to donate directly through Kerry's site.

I do not disparage you because you are for Kerry. I disparage you because you constantly push your website on multiple hreads about the same topic. Which is spam, and is against the rules of DU.

The poor guy gets nothing from the money except recognition from the campaign - which is no different than, say, bringing in 10 pledges of donations.

I simply am asking and encouraging Kerry supporters to donate to Kerry just like you all do when you post Dean's fundraising numbers and ask people to help him meet his goals. In fact, whenever the 'bat' is up, this site is inundated with frequent campaign contribution updates from Dean. I do not stand to gain anything from people using my site, money or otherwise, but am only trying to get people excited about contributing to the Kerry campaign.
Attacking supporters of other candidates not only antagonizes but helps to divide the Democratic party. We will need the full strenght of the party to unite behind whoever wins the nomination next summer. However, some seem intent only on dividing. That is a shame.

There may be a couple but there certainly aren't 92. I am attempting to fight forecully for my candidate John Kerry to be seriously considered by the internet set. You not withstanding, I think there are many people here that are not eager for the Dems to be divided over the war in Iraq and are interested in supporting a truly liberal candidate who has the best chance to beat George Bush and has appeal acorss the political spectrum
