Dean gets Time and Newsweek yet some claim 'corporate' media wants Kerry
Does anyone else think this claim rings false?

4. Not being a mind reader
can I have some clue as to what you are referring to? Are you referring to threads here? Are you referring to people you have talked to in person? Are you referring to pundits on TV? Again I am not a mind reader. I know asking some of you for links is somehow evil but one would be nice.

5. It was a joke
Now that Kerry is getting some face time, I'm sure he will be smeared as the "corporate candidate" as much as certain other candidates have been. Won't he?

8. Here it is
Kerry Is All Over TV Today (Thu 8/28/03) And Sunday
the title of the read in which some of these claims have been made. There were also other who agreed.

11. Thanks
I just got done reading and it is very aparent that they are joking. I know they don't give many hints (though I thought "I am joking" was a pretty good one as hints go). I realize you may not have been here for the umpteen "Dean is the choice of the corporate whores" threads due to them covering him. It seems pretty aparent they were taking that logic and applying it to Kerry.

he demonstrated his irony deficiency.

7. I Heard the Maple Syrup Cabal Wants Dean
The Cabal has formed a secret alliance with the Cane Sugar Commission, Corn Syrup Sisters, and the Sugar Beet Insiders to get Dean elected in 2004. They plan to carve up the market for sweeteners, fixing prices and gouging consumers. You heard it here first.

13. I wore my "Dean for America" pin at my work today at the Co-op
and had Amazing response! Five People of different Stripes asked me where I got my "Dean button" and they all said they thought he was a dymanic speaker! One lady was from Stockbridge, Mass. and mentioned Dean outpolled Kerry in N.H.! I felt like I was on a "Live DU"!

I told them about going online and finding the place where the local meetup would be on Sept. 3rd (@ Utica College Strebel Auditorium) and I hoped to see them there!

BTW...this is a small town in Middle New York!

14. That's excellent
though I don't know if you'll see too many crossover Republican types at the co-op. Maybe so, though? Glad to hear the word is getting out for Dean.

15. My friend has a Bed & Breakfast out in the Country and she
had some guests last weekend who were all for Dean and she told me she was surprised because she thought they would have been too conservative! I told her Dean is gettin' 'em across the Spectrum!

And we get a lot of republicans in our Co-op!

It got pretty messy back in Feb. when I wore my "No Blood for Oil" pin!

I'm glad I stood up for what I believed! :kick:
