Clark: Is he Nader-izing the Democratic primaries?
Isn't this too much to take from someone who thinks he can say "Liberal" and hypnotize us with verbal treacle?

...when he didn't care enough to even register Democrat yet?

How do you feel about giving money to someone who was himself raising money for Republicans well after Bush took office?

3. Yawn
Now we have to have a lifelong litmus test to be a Dem? I thought
only Repugs had litmus tests. personally, I have a brain and I
have experience with the country and its winsome ways over the past
fifty years. I will choose who I choose without taking a test first.
Clark has my vote to lose.

4. not lifelong, but at least say a year

no one is demanding lifelong dem membership, but i think it would be appropriate for a new member of the club to pay his dues for at least say a year or so before trying to run for its top leadership position. Clark hasn't done that.

would you want your sister to marry some guy who used to be gay, and only decided a month ago that he was really a het? wouldn't you think a little caution was in order before announcing the engagement?

You're right. Dems should get Clark to step aside. He's not giving anyone a good enough reason to split our base.

How far do you want to take using Arnold and the GOP as a model?

6. Actually Kerry Has A Litmus Test
For Supreme Court nominees. They MUST be clearly pro-choice. I am comfortable with that.

11. Himself fresh from Bush-era GOP-fundraising!
...and lobbying for Total Information Awareness-related corporations.

Unbelievable.... Giving him money is like cutting your own hand off.
