1. A few highlights
His work led to the passage of tougher smog standards in the Clean Air Act of 1990.

He cosponsored legislation in 2002 which would have brought millions of more dollars home to America’s communities to clean up Superfund sites, the most toxic sites in our nation.

He wrote a successful amendment that increased renewable energy and climate change research funding. And he wrote a resolution that passed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee calling on the Bush Administration stop blocking progress and to engage in international efforts to mitigate the threat of climate change.

John Kerry supports conservation program like the Wetlands Reserve Program, Wildlife Habitat Improvement Program, Farmland Protection Program and the new Conservation Security Program and Grassland Reserve Program.

He wrote legislation banning the dumping of plastics and other waste off our coasts, fought efforts to drill in sensitive areas in Georges Bank, and off the Florida and California coast and sponsored legislation protecting dolphins, porpoises, seals and other marine mammals.

4. Out of 100 threads DJCairo starts, 1 is positive...
the other 99 are Dean bashing.

You and other Kerry supporters have a much better record, though.

6. That is patently false and you know it.
You just so love my "Dean-bashing" that you can't help but read the nasty ones while you ignore the positive pro-Kerry threads. Post a link to my most recent "Dean-bashing" thread. I'd bet you a bowl of chowder that it's been a while and that I've had many pro-Kerry threads since then.

I admit I blew my stack with Dailykos.com but that can't really be considered Dean bashing can it? I thought it was Kos bashing.

7. Your latest Dean bashing thread...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=108&topic_id=55866

yeah, it's been a while...... THREE DAYS!!

And the biggest problem with that thread is that it was dupe, AND YOU KNEW IT because you participated in the original thread. That is obviously bashing... why couldn't you stick with the original one? You had to make another one with a provocating subject line...

8. Well.... truth is Dean said something stupid! (AGAIN!)
It's something he is (unfortunately) amazingly good at.

9. that's not the point...
perhaps he did say something stupid... but the thing is, why did DJCairo posted a SECOND thread with the same thing, after he had participated in the first one? It is obvious he knew he was posting a dupe... he just wanted to post a provocating subject line, and that's the problem that I have. Dean SHOULD be criticized, as should the other candidates (hey, that's what primaries are for!)... but posting things over and over again even when you know they are already there in the same forum makes no sense at all.

11. Well, is Dean aginst all Dems?
Or is he only for ones that voted against IWR and thinks the rest should be thrown out.

12. Glad to see the ENVIRONMENT will be an issue addressed by
a REAL environmentalist candidate and not just the election year campaigners pretending to be environmentalists.

Kucinich and Kerry will do well representing the environment with actual STUDIED positions and longheld beliefs and activism.
