3. Town Hall Democrats
The Dean article is why I am , as a former Nader guy, going for Dean and not Dennis The Spaceman. Dean gets Yankee independence, a liberalism that is based on Town Hall politics. Yes, there is a Thomas Paine in all of us, there is just a lot more in Dean than Spaceman. Dennis says the flakiest stuff sometimes, but never says "deficit" enough. I like and respect him, but he reminds me of those odd-ball "New Age" types that I meet at political rallies here in Santa Fe. They are sprinkled throughout the crowd as entertainment, I think. Anyway, Dean gets the seriousness of the situation.
