Kerry Throws Down the Gaunlet on Bush Press Conference

Another unbelievable statement from the Bush press conference:

BUSH TODAY:
The "Mission Accomplished" sign, of course, was put up by the members of the USS Abraham Lincoln, saying that their mission was accomplished. I know it was attributed somehow to some ingenious advance man from my staff.”

HERE IS HOW IT WAS REPORTED IN MAY:

Six hours since the Dim One blabbed his mouth at the press conference, was this released. Fortunately, my man Dean and also Clark issued an immediate statement in regards to this slogjob.

Use the damned articles, attribute them to Dean, I don't really care. For once, just spread the truth without politicizing every fucking thing towards the primaries. Fighting the Bush rhetoric is more important in this case.

though Kerry deserves kudos on this. It is one thing to just say, as Dean essentially did, 'that sucked' and quite another to prove why it sucked.

I missed His Chimperial Highness's speech today, and -- although I know he will never run out of ways to shock and repel me, still, I retain an inner sense of decency to still be revolted by anyone who would pull such a utter lie.

YEAH SURE SMIRKY! Yeah yeah -- the sailors put the sign up (I suppose they have a full graphic arts production studio on board) , and yeah yeah, SURE it meant that *their* mission was accomplished.

I guess turning the aircraft carrier to show the skyline rather than the coastline, and how the cameras framed the monkey masquerade (dress-up *is* fun, as Al Franken says) with the banner in the background -- in short, all the Triump of the Will stuff that was orchestrated that day was JUST A COINCIDENCE!!

BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT! DAMN! All the F***ing tv and print coverage of this event pushed it down our liberal throats that "it" had been a short, almost bloodless victory for our Divinely Chosen Magnificent Commander in Chimp -- and this event was celebrating joyfulling our Glorious VIctory!!

We all know they were going to use footage of the event (paid for by *our* taxes) for Campaign 2004 -- because THEY were too stupid to know that the war was FAR from over, as we did. Anyone remember how they hammered us the week of this event?

So -- they get caught, bareassed, ONCE AGAIN -- being stupid and lying -- and NOW they are changing the story, just like how Saddam Hussein was behind Sept 11 (Ann Coulter actually said this today, slipping it in, despite seconds earlier having said "Gee, you were STUPID if you thought Saddam Hussein was behind Sept 11!" -- because their lies are like reflexes, and they just can't help themselves, because they prefer to PRETEND things are one way, when they very obviously are not.

I have a lot of admiration for Sen Kerry as it is -- but how that boy can keep from smacking the shit out of that little chimpboy -- well, I just don't know how he can hold back!

Wanna make a bet, that some where in some warehouse, there are hundreds of boxes of Campaign 2004 flyers with Awol Pyle giving the "thumbs up" on the aircraft carrier, with a slogan on it like "All Hail Our Glorious Victorious Leader!!!"?

Just how LOW is this little shit going to drag down our nation before one of our Candidates kicks his monkey ass back to Lynch-ville County Texas?
