Wait. Rush said that he has often been imitated, but never duplicated

and has always regarded the imitations as inferior. (At least, he claims that no Left-types can be in the same ballpark).

So, while he is off, the show's ratings should dip, right? Since the wannabees are hosting the show, only as part-timers.

If Rush cannot immediately come back to his show (which, of course, he will), wouldn't his slobbering admirers drift away, since they were programmed to believe that there is nobody who can fill Rush's shoes? (Even with the drug-induced weight loss).
