Who is behind WorldNetDaily.com?

I found this information at the site:
Founded by Joseph and Elizabeth Farah in May 1997, it is now a leading Internet newssite in both traffic and influence.

I just want to know who's backing it. I have someone who's trying to argue with me that it's a credible news organization and I'd like to be able to give them facts about the people/organizations behind it.

Great site that has (usually) weekly updates on WND and other similar sites. While it doesn't have much hard data on WND, it has links that should point you in the right direction.

Which is owned by Hollinger International. Lord Conrad Black is about as right wing as one can be. One of his editirs described him as:

"seldom unconscious of his responsibilities as a member of the rich man's trade union".
