Look at the absolute SHIT I have to listen to here in Tulsa. I emailed the General Manager and Program Director asking if there was a plan to get ANY of the AirAmerica programs on KFAQ.

Get satellite radio (yeah, I know, it costs money...) and write to the GMs telling them you bought satellite radio because their programming
"is lacking substance" and there's nothing there to listen to. I wouldn't suggest specifically trashing their programming or otherwise giving them something with which to dimiss you as "just another whining liberal."

Or just tell them that whether you get it or not.

LTE's might not be a bad idea either. Get the word out if the papers print them.

The rest don't play talk radio anyway, so it would be useless to even ask them.

Micael DelGiorno's show sounds like something that should be on 970 KCFO (Christ for OK - Focus on the Family, Dennis Prager, etc)

I read that Air America won't syndicate individual shows. Bit short-sighted, if you ask me.

we have a similar situation in ORlando...Clear Channel has the names (and they have 5 stations in town) while the non Clear Channel right wing wanna be, WDBO, has alot of the same stuff as KFAQ...AM radio sucks in general, and Air America seems to want affiliates to buy the whole package or nothing at all...not smart.

What a joke it is here. Remember when 540 WFLA was using "Central Florida's Right News" as it's tagline? Did that make the bias too obvious?

Shannon Burke and Bud Hedinger are the only local guys on that station. I heard a caller on Burke's show suggest that a neutron bomb attack be used to respond to the Fallujah atrocities to which Burke replied, "good point." Annihilating an entire city over the murder of four people is a good point?

And as for Bud Hedinger...I can't hear his name without thinking "Butt Head". If only his first name were Dick. Anyhow, every time that limpdick is on, he's proposing boycotting the latest studio to come out with an R-rated movie. What a loser.

I can't believe I have to listen to Real Radio 104.1 to get a remotely unbiased opinion once in a while. I can't wait until AA hits our market.

The only semi-listenable thing there is Coast2Coast. But Art Bell isn't there anymore.
