Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction flak - pre-emptive strike on photos?

Sorry if this was previously covered, but the thought crossed my mind.

Reports are coming in that all this abuse and torture was presented to this misAdministration sometime in December 2003, maybe January.

So, Janet Jackson has a "wardrobe malfunction". Big fat hairy deal. The streaker just before the 2nd half kickoff was on TV longer than her boob. And you could see just about as much.

Yet the FCC and the Right-atics went nukular ballistic, demanding the airwaves get cleaned up. Presumably to "better than European" standards. Any network not suckling to Bush's teat was to be scrutinized with an electron microscope.

Donning my tinfoil hat:

Could it be that the "standards" for broadcasting were dramatically restricted so that showing the abuse pictures (that the misAdministration knew would eventually be leaked) would be tantamount to obscenity?

Was a straight-up, out-and-out cover-up, no questions asked (i.e. the way THEY wanted it all along!).x(

These folks learned about covering up from the masters...the ones running the Watergate cover-ups for Nixon.

Guess it proves once again that John Dean knew of what he spoke when he chose the title for his latest book!:eyes:
