GM Boycotts Air America... Letter Campaign to GM

Everyone... Please write to General Motors today regarding their pulling of ads from WLIB.

Here's my letter I wrote today...

Dear General Motors,

Thank you for your response to my prior email.

Regarding the pullling of GM advertising off Air America Station WLIB 1190-AM which shows Air America, let me first say that you have offended over 2 million listeners. I listen to Air America on Sirius Sattelite Radio and its also on XM sattelite Radio. Also people stream it on the web. At least 2 Million americans tune in nationwide and that number is growing. Furthermore, at least 50% of America is Democratic.

I am affiliated with sever Democratic web sites and we are all following GM's ad buys. Right now the subject we are researching is whether or not GM buys radio ads on radio stations that carry Rush Limbaugh. I would appreciate your help on this matter. Does GM buy ads on Rush Limbaugh stations. How about stations that carry Sean Hannity or a myriad of other right wing talk shows. If the answer is yes, the next question is why are you against Air America?

In either case, we are appalled, dismayed and saddened that GM has decided to choose to discontinue advertising on Air America. Please consider reversing this decision. I would like to think GM is even handed in picking which political talk radio it advertises on. Please put the ads back on!

Democrats buy GM cars. I drive a American cars and I want American auto makers to support political dialogue on both sides. Al Franken is mainstream satiric humour and people love him. GM please show some love for the Democratic side of talk radio.

This letter and your responses will be posted on various websites. Please, lets not talk about boycotts, I swear your ads on Air America will be well received and most appreciated.
