Unfortunately it's a major barf alert. They have compared Bush to Kennedy at least three times, and the war in Iraq and Afganistan to WWII.

2. What is?
Not the NY Times. And I didn't see the Discovery Channel on the list either. My brother in law works for Discovery and he says they are independently owned.

For the most part, the Discovery Channels (there are over a dozen) do a real good job of presenting compelling information. Not everything is completely accurate, but that goes for every media outlet, even DU. The NY Times is as good as it gets for a major newspaper. They haven't had a good thing to say about this administration from the start. (I'm talking about the editorials here, not the headlines)

I think the comparisons to JFK are legitimate, not in substance but in style. I find myself comparing them all the time. In fact, if it looks like w is going to loose the election, I predict that shrub will be assassinated this summer, then the pugs can have a martyr/myth to match JFK. They already fashioned ronnie to counter balance FDR.

The nauseating thing about it is that JFK and FDR were truly good men and strong leaders. Where as RR and shrub are just mannequins. But the average American can't tell the difference anyways, so I guess it really doesn't matter.
