CSI to Graphic...?
So a parent group thinks that CSI is being to graphic...well...gee...let me think back here...what about the dead shot up bodies of Saddam's sons all over the tube, ummm...let's see...bloody and dead bodies in Iraq and around the world shown daily...all hours of the day...but yet...a fictional TV show is to graphic...some people need to be bitch slapped for stupidity...!

<snip>

The Parents Television Council criticized the CBS drama for stories about cannibalism, S&M sex clubs and snuff films.

What's worse is that CBS occasionally reruns the show at the 8 p.m. hour when more children are likely to be watching, said Melissa Caldwell, research director for the 800,000-member organization, which monitors sex and violence on TV. The group released its annual list of the best and worst prime-time shows.

The Thursday night drama usually tops the Nielsen Media Research weekly prime-time ratings and has already been responsible for one spinoff series, "CSI: Miami."

As forensics investigators, the lead "CSI" characters might be expected to bear witness to some seedy situations. But Caldwell said, "There are ways you can deal with these issues without having to be as graphic."

2. Message to Melissa
Don't watch if you find it too graphic.

Maybe 8:00 is too early, but I wish these people would spend more time complaining about innane comedies and stupid "reality TV" instead of cricizing one of the few intelligent programs on the boob tube.

3. PTC needs to go away
They harrassed companies that advertised on the WWE (formerly WWF) program that airs on UPN so badly, that Vince McMahon sued them and won $1.2 million.

If you can stomach a trip to their website, they heavily promote the little watched PAX network and think any show that doesn't push a christian heterosexual whitebread agenda is eeeeeeeevil.
