Mexico stock exchange suspends trading

Went up too much?

MEXICO CITY, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Mexico's stock exchange said on Tuesday it had temporarily suspended trading as its main IPC index .MXX posted gains of over 6 percent.

Traders said huge volume was the reason for the suspension. (Reporting by Noel Randewich and Vanessa Padilla; Editing by Dan Grebler)
