GDP decline nearing worst since Great Depression.

Look at the graph on the right of the post. Only the 1958 recession has a larger GDP decline so far...but not by much. We've already beat the 1974-75 and 1980-1982 double-dip declines.

1. That graph proves one thing beyond a doubt
Every single Republican administration has fucked up the economy, there are no exceptions.

Truman inherited the postwar slump. Kennedy inherited the last Eisenhower slump.

Other than that, the Republicans own all recessions. No Republican has gone through his years in office without a recession.
