I'm not sure about TBT but I think that Dalai Lama guy comes from there.

3. Fortunately, I am an expert in nearly everything

TBT: Tawdry British Transvestites. Kind of like Eddie Izzard, Sir Elton, or (more customarily and less intelligently) the Conservative Party.

MOO: Multiple Onanistic Orgasms. A series of several selections of salacious and stimulating self-sex.

DBA: Disciplinary Bondage Action. Strapping the submissive down before strapping the submissive. Spanking the Monkey plus 10 million years of evolution, and maybe a private school uniform.

FXI: Fucking eXclusive of Introitus. Sex without intercourse. The gold and silver is customarily used to help under-leveraged males facilitate the transition into a full frontal fiduciary merger, though crystallized carbon sets the market standard, conducting trading with the practice that all rocks of any tangible value require mounting.

If this is something you just read ... by all means, keep reading!

17. I thought I was the only one who saw it that way
Of course, I never had the presence of mind to invent a nickname for myself from which the word "spank" could be spelled, like "BlancheSplanchnik".

(I'm much better at figuring out stuff than making things up.)

9. No prob. The combination is an inflation hedge play.
A speculation that inflation will rise. The poster or author is speculating that Agriculture commodities and Agribusiness will benefit as well in an inflationary environment. I suspect the China Fund is thrown in cause he is bullish on China.

There is a Unit Investment Trust that has been out for a couple of months incorporating the same idea, just more diversified. It uses both the long and short term - short Treasury ETF's, Silver and Gold ETF's instead of physical metals and selected mining stocks.

5. I was looking at MOO
a while back, but I seem to remember that it's a load fund with fairly high management fees.

8. It's an ETF, so it has no load, there would just be a commission to buy it.
Expense ratio is 0.59%. Not too bad - a little high for an ETF perhaps, but not outrageous.

14. You are, as always, a treasure trove of good info, JoAnne. Thanks.
I made 10 K by getting in and out at the right time in REIT fund, inside of a small ROTH IRA.
( 2004 thru early 2007 )

But ETFs are something I have not looked at.

However, Denningr and Jim rogers are saying "agriculture commodites" a lot now.

Base metals....makes sense. Didn't I just read something about palladium going sky high?

I need to do a gut check, but no action until I watch for awhile more.
