Mexican President Says No To Biofuels Law

Mexican President Felipe Calderón recently vetoed a law meant to boost Mexico's biofuels sector, on the grounds it gives too much emphasis to corn and sugarcane production.

3. Food to fuel is stupid, period.
With the threat the global food supply is under due to Climate Chaos, putting any of it in our fuel tanks isn't just stupid, it's murderous.

I'm curious as to what other biofuels you think are a better choice than crop-based ethanol and biodiesel?
