Massachusetts nuke workers question Vermont Yankee operation

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Public Interest Research Group releases a document showing workers at a Massachusetts nuclear plant don't want to be associated with the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant because of concerns about how it is run.

Clean energy advocate James Moore says he discovered it while searching through files of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

It says union members at the Plymouth plant were worried their career prospects could be harmed if another potential employer viewed Pilgrim's operations as similar to those in Vermont.

Entergy Nuclear owns both plants and wants to create a new company made up six nuclear facilities.
