TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Westar Energy says it has signed final agreements with developers to build three wind farms in Kansas.

The wind farms are expected to provide 300 megawatts of power and will be producing energy by the end of the year.

Developers estimate the three farms will provide about 375 jobs during construction, and about 25 jobs when they are operating.

The three sites are in Wichita, Cloud and Barber counties.
