"Vestas is showing yet again why it is one of our strongest partners in the development of modern energy in the 21st century," said Ritter in a statement about the plan, "and my administration has worked closely with Vestas over the past few months to make this new factory a reality."
According to Vestas, the tower facility investment is expected to convince more European sub-suppliers to come to the U.S., where they can join forces with Vestas to support the wind power investments made by North American customers.
