LINT (WJRT) -- (05/14/08)--A plan to turn human waste into alternative energy could spell relief for some Flint-area residents.

That's because officials believe the process could help clear the air for some who live near the waste water treatment plant.

The city of Flint and an alternative energy company -- Swedish Biogas International -- announced a partnership Tuesday.

That partnership would add a facility to build a facility near the treatment plant. You would think that would make for an even more stinky situation, but that may not be the case.
