Volvo ReCharge : Anyone have info ?

In September 2007, Volvo showcased the ReCharge. Like the Chevy Volt, it is an EREV with a 60mi (or so) all-electric range that is then augmented by a flex-fuel engine that will simply provide additional battery charge. Unlike the Volt, the ReCharge has motors in all 4 wheels.

The questions for whcih I cannot seem to find answers :

1. What is the expected price ?

2. What is the expected time to market ?

If anyone knows these answers, your replies are much appreciated.

1. Maybe US $35,000

It's based on the C30 series (I believe), which are in the US $25,000 range for second generation:

So add in the extra equipment and engineering, and I would estimate at least US $35,000. Similar opinions exist here:

The press is a little unclear, but I strongly believe this exists only as a prototype C30 alteration. Being a concept vehicle, and believing that Volvo takes 3-5 years to follow through, this vehicle could debut as early as 2011. Dollars to donuts, though, Volvo will release several significantly increased efficiency vehicles before 2015.
