frankly, I have my doubts that we as a nation, we as a world, we as a civilization will pick up the massive slack in time to really make the change that desperately needs to be made.

The majority of people who can take alternative transportation: still don't. Many people who know full well that their actions still spew tons of CO2: still continue on their merry way. People who have huge yards: still use millions of gallons each year to keep it green instead of growing food.

people cloud the picture with the cap and trade argument with out really doing anything else to make a difference.

It goes on and on and on...

3. I know what you mean. Down here on the

Gulf Coast they won't even build sidewalks. If you try to ride a bike or a scooter they try to run over you and do in a lot of cases. They are finally talking about getting the train running again, Katrina blew away the station.

I could go on, but you get it.
