A question...
As a one-time resident of two places on the Gulf Coast, Baldwin County AL and Okaloosa County FL, this oil spill has made the seafood industry about over, a large deal to Destin, Navarre, Gulf Shores, etc. Is it possible to replicate snapper, grouper, oysters, shellfish, etc inland with farm-raising techniques similar to Catfish farming? The politically correct supermarket where I live has a shrimp special every week usually Buy One, Get One Free w/loyalty card BOGO (this week 30% off all cooked shrimp). Generally speaking, this is Thailand farm-raised shrimp. I would think this could be done here. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

1. Fish farming/aquaculture
It's more common than many think, and is often not what they think it is.

Even shrimp farming may not be what you think.

These methods tend to be ecologically stressful, and can produce less healthy fish (which are less healthy for you to eat.)
