minority in northeast India has set up an office in
Washington to try to boost its image abroad, a rebel
leader said Thursday
''After all, we have to enlist support from everybody for our
cause even while negotiating with the Indian government to try and
work out an acceptable solution,'' K. Chawang, spokesman for the
Isak-Muivah faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland,
told The Associated Press.
