2. Based on the limited amount of information in the article. How are you able to state
that this was an "open carry stunt"?

1. Was there a gun?
2. If there was a gun, was this individual open carrying it?

The article you linked answers neither of these questions.

3. I would have thought that the meaning of the phrase "open carry" was pretty clear
by now. Is that not the case? :shrug:

Whatever it was that happened in NYC, I can't see how it relates to OC at all...

So what was he open carrying? Messenger bag? Yellow bicycle? Water Bottle? Blue hat?

"Moments before the drama, witnesses said Duhaime was walking his bike, navigating his way through the crowd.

"Secret Service!" he yelled. "Secret Service! Coming through!"

Duhaime said he didn't think anyone would take him seriously. "I was making jokes to get my bike through the crowd," he told the Daily News. "Everyone was laughing."

Police released Duhaime - who plays guitar and sings for a band called Moxie Motive - 20 minutes after the incident. A water bottle filled with Coors Light was found in his backpack."

16. To make things easier for you
Crow and Mushroom Stew

3 crows
1 Tbsp lard/shortening
1 pint stock or gravy
2 Tbsp cream
1/2 cup mushrooms
salt and pepper
cayenne pepper

Clean and cut crows into small portions and let them cook a short time in the lard/shortening in a saucepan, being careful not to brown them.
Next, add to the contents of the pan, the stock or gravy, and salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
Simmer 1 hour, or until tender, add mushrooms, simmer 10 minutes more and then stir in cream.
Arrange the mushrooms around the crows on a hot platter.
