OMMP-CHL Oregon Supreme Court
Much anticipated decision was released this morning affirming the trial courts and Court of Appeals in cases brought by Oregon Medical Marijuana Program registrants whose applications for issuance or renewal of their concealed handgun licenses were denied by two county sheriffs. The Oregon Supreme court, sitting en banc, orders that the licenses shall issue. Interesting analysis of the nexus between state and federal firearms and drug laws.
