At least four killed in suicide bombing at West Bank checkpoint

At least four people - one Israeli and three Palestinians - were killed Thursday morning when a suicide bomber blew himself up at an Israel Defense Forces checkpoint near the northern West Bank town of Tul Karm.

An Israeli who was seriously wounded and airlifted to Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, near Tel Aviv.

Israel Radio reported that the IDF had received an early warning of the attack and had placed several impromptu checkpoints across the West Bank, including the one at which the attack took place.
