"Unknown assailants set on fire during the night three vehicles at the Palestinian village of Ein Abus near the settlement of Yitzhar in Samaria. Police forces raided the settlement, but made no arrests.
According to the police, a village resident complained that three Yitzhar settlers arrived at the village, torched three vehicles and a tractor and fled by car to the settlement. The villager claimed he chased the perpetrators up to the settlement's entrance and then called the police.
Samaria District policemen arrived at the place and conducted searches in Yitzahr. A vehicle matching the eyewitness' description was found. The police continues its investigation in a bid to apprehend the people behind the crime.
Thursday's incident is the second violent episode Yitzhar residents were allegedly involved in. on Tuesday, some thirty settlers hurled stones at an Israeli-Arab truck driver who arrived at the community's gate."
