1. I was watching
Sharon's speech to the Knesset for the beggining of the Winter Session, and man, the legislators there sure do protest. They were yelling every minute.

However, I have been hearing that the left-leaning forces have been gaining more strength.

No shit, Jose!

Unfortunately, many Israelis are as deluded about their country as many Americans are about ours. It is a lot easier to blame the other side for our own follies, rather than take responsibility for our own actions and take corrective steps.

As their American counterparts, Israel's rightwing is quite adept at exploiting the fears and prejudices of the populace to maintain themselves in power.

The future for both countries is quite grim!

It said:
