Talks on Release of Hostages in Colombia Fail By Yossi Melman

Talks between Catholic church representatives and
jailed ELN leader Franciso Galan in Medellin on
the release of four Israelis and three Europeans
being held by the Marxist group ended in failure
early Friday, because the sides were unable to
agree on the timetable for the release of the
hostages.
