JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up in a grocery store in central Israel on Tuesday, injuring at least six people in the first attack of its kind in more than a month, police said.

Police suspected a second explosion near the West Bank settlement of Ariel which injured at least three people was also a suicide bombing.

The grocery store blast which happened in the town of Rosh Ha'ayin raised further doubts about prospects for peace under a U.S-backed "road map." It was the second suicide bombing in Israel since Palestinian militant groups declared a cease-fire on June 29.

The Palestinian Authority immediately condemned the attack but Palestinian cabinet member Yasser Abed Rabbo said Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon "has been practicing all forms of provocations."
