Palestinians say ceasefire holds

"Moderate and radical Palestinian groups heaped blame on Israel for renewed violence but denied on Wednesday that a pair of suicide blasts heralded the collapse of their six-week-old truce.

They insisted the bombings on Tuesday that killed two Israelis and wounded a dozen were in response to a deadly Israeli raid on the West Bank city of Nablus last week and not a prelude to further unilateral attacks.

Abdul Aziz al-Rantissi, political leader of Hamas, told AFP the main radical group reserved the right to react to what he called Israeli aggression, but that the three-month truce proclaimed on June 29 would stay in place."

The murder of innocents does not shatter a ceasefire? Oh, my.

It seems that it is a peace of attrition. They will of course attack and blame Israel. The hudna will be in tatters in three months time.

Either you're having a ceasefire or you aren't.
