Israel Announces Spending Curbs

That's a shame, that unauthorized constructions were constructed.

That's a shame, that the high ranking official was fired. He must be feeling sad right now.

That's a shame, that those people were killed.

A new monitoring system? Wow. They're only sorry they were caught. No dismantling.

In the central Gaza town of Deir al-Balah, a Palestinian security guard was killed by Israeli gunfire after dozens of youths began throwing stones at troops. One of the wounded was a news photographer working for AFP, the French news agency said.

The army said soldiers fired at gunmen. The military demolished 10 buildings, uprooted dozens of olive trees and damaged infrastructure in the area. witnesses said.

Fifty-six years since the proclamation of Israel, and so little has changed on either side. I'm not sorry the Hamas fighter was killed (its a war), only the civilians.
