Bush: Delay for Palestinian state
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3696347.stm

<snip>

US President George W Bush has said the deadline for setting up a Palestinian state has slipped due to violence and a change of Palestinian leaders.

"I think the timetable of 2005 is not as realistic as it was two years ago," Mr Bush told Egypt's al-Ahram daily.

Responding to the remarks, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat said the 2005 deadline was "more than realistic".

<snip>
Mr Bush said the US remained committed to the internationally-accepted peace plan for the Middle East - the roadmap, and would underline this with a letter to Mr Qurei.

"Well, 2005 may be hard, since 2005 is right around the corner. I readily concede the date has slipped some, primarily because violence sprung up."

<snip>

So now pResident douchebag is back to the 'road map'? Seriously folks, we have way more than enought evidence to prove that this guy is a schizophrenic or completely insane.

1. He isn't insane if you realize that he is doing Sharon's bidding.

Once you realize that he doesnt give a rat's ass about what the Palestinians want, it all makes sense.

2. Bush's roadmap statements irk Palestinians

Palestinians reacted angrily Saturday after US President George W. Bush threw into doubt a target date of next year for their promised state, while Israel echoed the US president's open questioning of the timetable set out in an international peace roadmap.

Meanwhile, at least six people were injured, three seriously, when a blast destroyed a convenience store just outside the walls of Jerusalem's Old City, medics said.

Three people, all Arab residents of the area, were said to be in serious condition, while at least three others were lightly injured in the explosion.
