Report: 6 Israeli Troops Killed in Gaza
http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/world/wire/sns-ap-lebanon-israel-palestinians,0,2270064.story?coll=sns-ap-world-headlines

<snip>

"At least six Israeli soldiers were killed Tuesday when their armored personnel carrier drove over a bomb during clashes with Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip, pan-Arab television stations reported.

Quoting their correspondents in Gaza, the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya and the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera satellite channels said that the bomb exploded in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City at dawn Tuesday.

Al-Arabiya reported that Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad group, and Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas group, have claimed responsibility for the bombing. Both TV stations were monitored in Beirut.

In the Gaza Strip, Hamas issued another claim of responsibility, saying it had filmed Israelis evacuating their dead and wounded soldiers from the scene."

1. I don't get it.
How to match this claim in your article:

"In the Gaza Strip, Hamas issued another claim of responsibility..."

with this claim in article from 2 weeks ago:

Zur: Israel has infiltrated Hamas leadership

Border Police head Cmdr. David Zur, said Saturday that "Israel has people in the leadership of the Hamas." ...........

2. think...
Hamas kills Israelis. Hamas wants Israel to die. Israeli acts undercover to find intelligence about Hamas operations.

Does that solve your conflict?

3. No it doesn't.
Zur makes it sound as if they know everthing about Hamas, that they actually control it. Yet they missed this bomb.

-repeat snip-
Border Police head Cmdr. David Zur, said Saturday that "Israel has people in the leadership of the Hamas."

Israel has excelled beyond belief in this field," Zur said. -end snip-

So what's the meaning of this contradiction. Was he lying?

4. Missed the bomb
Yes, there were two or three organizations claiming responsibility for planting the bomb.

Yet, prior to that, this operation managed to destroy 20 Kassam missile production factories in the area. For now, the Kassam missile production is halted.

While firing Kassam missiles are a non-event for most of the world, the destruction of the parts factories was a victory. The soldiers and their families, and Israel lost 6 brave men, unfortunately. The families of the region can breath a little easier.
