Who to Trust: AIPAC or Amnesty International?
http://www.counterpunch.org/hanania05192004.html

In a speech recently, President Bush says Israel has a right to defend itself against terror but he made no mention of Israel's government's "war crimes."

Israel has a right to defend itself against terrorism, but does Israel's government have a right to kill innocent Palestinians?

Does Israel's government have a right to fabricate excuses that no one can confirm as reasons to ethnically cleanse areas of the occupied lands?

Does Israel's government have a right to steal lands, expel its Christian and Muslim Palestinian inhabitants and replace them with Jewish refugees who claim a "right of return" that they deny to others?

1. What bothers me is
that if people criticize the Israeli government, they are immediately branned an anti-Semite. Personally, I think the UN should go in and take over the area and establish a democracy with a constitution guaranteeing religious liberty and the rights for all to visit holy shrines. The government should be secular and everyone who has a right of return should have the right of return, both Jews and Palestinians.

2. Well let's think about that question here....
AIPAC is fighting to defend its policies in the face of scrutiny and body bags.

Amnesty International is an organization with no policy to defend that does not even focus solely on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Not to mention, they condemn both sides where appropriate.

It's really not hard to see which group is more credible.

3. someone should tell the Iraqis
"In a speech recently, President Bush says Israel has a right to defend itself against terror but he made no mention of Israel's government's "war crimes."

seems they're well within their rights according to Georgie-boy anyway, to "defend" themselves against US war crimes - so when do you think we'll see them shooting American kids for throwing rocks? or assasinating a few "leaders" next time they drop in for a plastic turkey
