UN says IDF troops raid UN office in Jenin
Israel Defense Forces troops raided the office of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in the West Bank town of Jenin, threatened a UN official and detained him for three hours, an UNRWA statement said Sunday.

UNWRA is the UN agency in charge of providing aide to Palestinian refugees.

According to the statement, IDF troops broke into the UNRWA office for the Jenin Camp Reconstruction Project on May 20, and fired a shot in the direction of the senior project manager, Paul Wolstenholme.

Soldiers then blindfolded, handcuffed and detained Wolstenholme for three hours and threatened him, the statement said.

More on dramatic events..

1. Fitting payback for the UN's cynical peddling of the "Jenin massacre" lie.

7. Project managers - senior or otherwise

don't come up with UN statements, so presumably Jim you'd think it was fitting for Hamas to burst into an IDF admin building and shoot at some not entities there too; blindfold, handcuff and detain them for three hours - you know "payback" for the IDF's cynical (and repetitive) peddling of the "collateral damage" lie?

Or would it just be a threatening and intimidatory technique?

Um, you've lost something (either timing or context) with your attempt at humor...

3. We really are on a tear, aren't we?
Is Sharon having a contest with Bush to see who can piss the
most people off?
