Israel to swap prisoners with Hizbollah
Not buying it yet, but interesting if true.

Jerusalem, Aug 24. (UNI): Israel is close to sealing a prisoner
swap deal with the Lebanese militant group Hizbollah, media
reports said today.

Israeli officials were quoted in local media to have
acknowledged the possibility of working out such a deal with
Germany's help, but no deal is said to have been finalised yet,
the Ha'aretz reported.

The Hizbollah is holding four Israelis, including three soldiers
and a retired colonel captive.

The Israeli soldiers were captured in the disputed Har Dov area
near the border with Lebanon in October 2000, while the
reserve colonel was seized overseas during a "complicated
operation" in the movement's words.
