Richard Gage Response to Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center
We Are Change LA interviews Richard Gage of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth (www.ae911truth.org) regarding the testimony by Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center before Jane Harman's Congressional Committee. Mr Weitzman gave a presentation to the committee in support of H.R. 1955 where he positioned the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth website as an "incubator of 9/11 conspiracies and disinformation". This video is Richard Gage's response.

1. Incubator of 9/11 Conspiracy and Disinformation?
Sounds pretty accurate to me. What is Gage complaining about? He needs to step back a bit and look at this "organization" he fronts and recognize exactly what it is he is doing - contributing to the stench of conspiracies and disinformation in this matter.

3. No, I didn't say that
You did. There is still no crime against being stupid and hurtful and making a fool out of one's self in front of the world, though.

It is a stench, though, no doubt.

15. Actually the comic is from a clipart site
Someone mocked me by representing me as the lizard guy, and I promptly adopted it. It is what it is.

I'm glad to have a fan.

7. Not a crime yet, but
HR1955 is a step in that direction. Are you for / against?

10. I oppose HR 1955 in principle, but I don't think it's the beginning of the end.
In general, I support the right of people to make fools of themselves as loudly and as publicly as they like. I just don't want people getting in my face with a bullhorn. That's stupid and dangerous and is bound to end up with someone getting hurt.

12. Wow, you're just what they're hoping for
This isn't anti-bullhorn legislation. The government won't have any problem with someone getting in your face with a bullhorn if they approve of the message. This about silencing dissent by declaring it "homegrown terrorism". BTW, a lot more people get hurt when we don't make noise: 4,210 coalition deaths / 30,000 coalition wounded / 151,000+ Iraqi deaths... Thanks for the well-reasoned response.

13. Did you actually read the bill?
It sends some money to some academics and establishes a few study groups.

Yawn.

I did NOT pick JFK for my avatar because he looks somewhat boffable...not to me, anyway...maybe some other guys might find him somewhat boffable...not that there's anything wrong with that, of course...anyway, he's dead anyhow, although necroph...oh, nevermind.

19. And just for the record...
I didn't pick Edwards for mine because he looks somewhat boffable. I did it because I'm currently supporting his candidacy for President. His looking somewhat boffable is strictly icing on the cake.
