1. Your persistance in posting factually inaccurate statements continues.
That isn't the main crater of Flight 93. That is a large piece of debris in front of a house. The reporter was not watching the feed, as is clear from her words.

Why do you persist in posting factually inaccurate statements, mhatrw?

2. Your 'persistance" is so predictable, boloboffin.
What do you think that large piece of debris is, boloboffin, and how far away is it from the crash site?

3. Ummm, your post says....
that IS the crash site. Are you now admitting it isn't?

4. Mhatrw never admits being proven factually inaccurate.
That way, mhatrw can continue to post the same factually inaccurate statement later on down the line.

8. It very well may be a "crash" site, but not of a plane.
It looks like a crater to me. What does it look like to you?

Do we know where the scar came from or has someone a link to a USGS map from 1994?

20. The Shanksville site was a strip mine.

...which is why, on USGS maps, it says "reclaimed strip mine" in the area adjacent the crash site.

and, no, the USGS does not update topo maps in real time, in places where there is progressive excavation and filling in...

19. You do understand how strip mining works, yes?

And you do understand that prior to 1996, the Shanksville site was a strip mine?

21. Yes. And in 9/11/2001, it was the site of a former strip mine with a scar that looked a lot like a
strip mining scar.

You will persist in making them, won't you?

6. I don't know what that piece of debris is, mhatrw.
I can't make out anything much from that grainy YouTube video.

But off the top of my head, it's around two hundred yards from the site.

11. Um, what?
It's called "going to work." You really should resist a call of crickets before at least 24 hours and to be safe, after the poster demonstrates that he or she has returned to the site and actually not answered the thread.

It's called civility.

I think you're probably the last guy who should lecture about civility.

10. Where did you get that from?
Why don't you try using a photo from that day, mhatrw? Since you're interested in the simple truth and all, why not use a photograph of the actual day?

That's where the house and garage were. You can see how close they were to the crash site.
