NORAD had drills of jets as weapons- two years before the Sept. 11
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2004-04-18-norad_x.htm

In the two years before the Sept. 11 attacks, the North American Aerospace Defense Command conducted exercises simulating what the White House says was unimaginable at the time: hijacked airliners used as weapons to crash into targets and cause mass casualties.

One of the imagined targets was the World Trade Center. In another exercise, jets performed a mock shootdown over the Atlantic Ocean of a jet supposedly laden with chemical poisons headed toward a target in the United States. In a third scenario, the target was the Pentagon — but that drill was not run after Defense officials said it was unrealistic, NORAD and Defense officials say.

NORAD, in a written statement, confirmed that such hijacking exercises occurred. It said the scenarios outlined were regional drills, not regularly scheduled continent-wide exercises.

"Numerous types of civilian and military aircraft were used as mock hijacked aircraft," the statement said. "These exercises tested track detection and identification; scramble and interception; hijack procedures; internal and external agency coordination and operational security and communications security procedures."

1. I just saw part of an underground movie that said Charles Burlingame participated in those exercises
while working at the Pentagon... the same Charles Burlingame who was the pilot of Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon on 9-11-01

Have you heard anything about this?

13. This was the first I'd heard of it...
I was handed a homemade DVD the other day, through an old contact in the AB. It has part of Loose Change in it... and a lot of other stuff... I've got to sit down and fully watch it, probably sometime tomorrow..

:hi:

5. What do you mean "so?", SLAD?
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 07:50 PM by SDuderstadt
Hint: it goes to the point of where they anticipated flights might come from, thus undermining their effectiveness on 9/11. This is why NORAD ADIZ's were pointed outward up until after 9/11. If you can't grasp the significance of that, I can't help you. As a matter of fact, I'd bet you don't even know what an ADIZ is without looking it up.

Here are the exact quotes

Immediately following the attacks, President George W. Bush stated that "nobody in our government at least, and I don't the think the prior government, could envisage flying air planes into buildings" and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice claimed no-one "could have predicted that they would try to use an airplane as a missile". An Air Force general called the attack "something we had never seen before, something we had never even thought of."<1> Soon after the attacks, FBI Director Robert Mueller announced "there were no warning signs that I'm aware of that would indicate this type of operation in the country."<2>

14. It's hard to rationalize it as stalking...
when SDuderstadt responded to your OP before seemslikeadream began to participate, and when she did respond it was a reply to a post of his. If SDuderstadt responds to her post, I do not believe it qualifies as stalking. After all, why should she be able to respond to him and not vice versa?

17. I see you already noticed SLAD *started* the thread. This thread has sat for TEN DAYS
with no response.... until I just kicked it up from the bottom of the page..

Myself personally? Yes, I consider it stalking and harrassment on his part. Others may not agree or see it that way, and that's their opinion they're entitled to. I'm entitled to my opinion on it also. If he had something to say about it, he's had 10 days to do so.

PEACE,

Ghost
