Michael Zebuhr didn’t intervene when two men stole his mother’s purse, but one of the men shot him anyway. The 25-year-old Buckhannon resident and recent Davis & Elkins College died a day later.

He seemed to be quite a remarkable young man with so much life and promise ahead of him. What a tragic waste.

As one comment on the blog cited above put it, if the perps of 9/11 killed 3000 people, do you think they would hesitate to kill a scholar for truth to send a message?

Even stranger, the station KARE report about suspects says that the suspects are members of a "Somali gang." We have Somali gangs in Minnessota? Holy links to Islamic terrorism, Batman!

Why hasn't a full description of the perps been released?

I'm betting that there were dozens of security cameras in the normally safe Uptown area.

I'm betting that there hasn't been a single "random, senseless" robbery murder anything like this anywhere near that vicinity in years.

Finally, I'm betting that no one will ever be brought to justice.

But, don't you need a FOIA request or 100+ of them and a few law suits... to maybe get the video footage released? Ok, so that technique doesn't work with the Pentagon, but maybe it works when Al-CIA-duh's not involved? ;-)

I don't know that I'd get too paranoid over this one. Crime in the uptown area of Minneapolis has been on the rise lately and this one could very well be a coincidence. The funny thing is, the local critism of this crime had more to do with the overwhelming response of the Mpls police. - White guy shot in popular, more upscale, commercial district brings out even the chief of police while crime in one of the poorer areas of town hardly rates a mention in the newspaper.
